What documentation will I need?

Your passport with appropriate visa if needed and, if you will be the rider, your license for riding a motorcycle is necessary and sufficient to take part in the tour.

Is experience necessary for this type of trips?

You need to have experience in riding a motorbike. All of our tours are on tarmac so if you can keep the paint up and rubber down at all times, you will be ok.

Will there be a support vehicle with us?

Yes, a support vehicle accompanies all of our tours and It is equipped with tools and other basic supplies to accommodate simple repairs.

What is the weather like in Turkey?

Most parts of Turkey has typical Mediterranean climate. We schedule all of our tours for you to enjoy the optimum climate conditions for the regions travelled. When you choose your tour we will tell you exactly what the weather is like at that moment.

What are the accommodations like?

All our accommodations we have selected are clean, and comfortable. We use 3 & 4 star boutique hotels some with swimming pools.

Will I be able to use my credit card?

Yes. Credit Cards are widely accepted throughout Turkey.

How much money do I bring?

A moderate sum to cover lunch, dinner, snacks, and fuel will be required. Fuel can be purchased on all major credit cards. While travelling through Turkey, you may use the new Turkish Lira (YTL). US Dollars and Euros are accepted in most establishments. Credit cards are widely accepted throughout our route.

Will I have access to cash machines / banks?

Money is easily obtained at most ATM machines, banks or currency exchange offices. Travellers cheques can be exchanged at most banks.

Are tours suitable for pillions?

Absolutely. All riding is on surfaced and good quality roads. We have designed our route to allow for rest/cafe stops and plenty of photo stops. There are many attractions to see along the way and we take the time to visit them.

How many motorcycles are there in a group?

A maximum of 10 plus the guide.

Do I need to book in order to go on a tour?

Yes, It's necessary.

What type of equipment do I need to take with me?

You need to bring all the necessary equipment to ride a motorbike: a helmet, a jacket, gloves, trousers, boots, and in the case of rain a rain equipment and clothes for the stops. Please have a look at the check list for a more comprehensive planning.

What sort of distances will be covered in one day?

We average approx. 200 to 300 km (125 to 185 mi) per riding day. For more precise specifications see tour description.

What will we do on non-riding days?

The relaxation days are spent in extremely beautiful areas or in cultural, often historic centers. These days are primarily planned for recuperation and can be used individually by each person (site-seeing, relaxing, strolling around). Naturally there are also tour suggestions for motorbike trips in the area.

Are vaccinations necessary in order to enter Turkey?

No, special vaccinations are not necessary in order to enter Turkey.

How much luggage may I bring?

As much as you need. The luggage is always transported in the support vehicle and brought directly to our accommodation, where it will be waiting for you in your hotel room.
